What is OAG Student Ministries?
A Ministry for anyone 6-12 grade
At OAG Student Ministries we strive to be available to any student between 6-12 grades. This starts with our weekly services on Sunday nights at 5:30, and continues out into wherever our students may roam!
WHAT TO EXPECT
A place where everyone can encounter the Love of God
While things may change from time to time, generally our service structures will follow the same pattern. We hang out before service in our student building where there's games, and music. Then when we meet for service we will go through a few announcement. We will have a time of worship led by our Student Worship Leader, then the message. At the end there will be any last minute announcements that we need to cover and then we will dismiss. All in all the service time will last about an hour. with free time before and after. Unless something else is pressing at the time, our student building will remain open for about half an hour after the adult service is over for those who want to hang out and have some time with their friends.
Who will I find there?
We have the most phenomenal team of Minisrty Leaders at OAG Student Ministry. From our Pastoral Staff, through our leadership team, our volunteers, and even our student-leaders who are dedicated to making this am awesome environment to develop your relationship, both with the Lord, as well as with a community of peers!
One thing that we are passionate about in our Student Ministry, is seeing students grow. We are not only encouraging their spiritual growth, but other area of personal growth as well. One way we do this is by having students in key leadership positions so they can begin to identify areas where they feel God has gifted them, and are able to use those gifts for His glory in a safe and structured environment. All student leaders are paired with an adult leader that is able to mentor them as they develop into the next generation of leaders.
